Well-established blooming size plant in a 3.25" pot. A beautiful, medium-sized orchid that produces long chains of small, lantern-shaped creamy white fragrant flowers. The foliage is also interesting. If you grow it shady the plant stays dark green. If you grow it with a little sun, the leaves turn orange from the tip. Well-established blooming size plant in a 3.25" pot. These plants are ready for a 3"-4" pot or hanging basket. Also known as the Rattlesnake orchid (the unopened flower spikes resemble a rattlesnake rattle), this plant produces long chains of flowers similar to a Dendrochilum. Each spike will produce 25-100 pearl-size fragrant flowers that open in a spiral pattern. The plant has attractive, stiff, very dark green leaves. Care: Indirect light-shade, cool-warm temps, regular watering and light feeding spring-fall with a slightly drier rest period in the winter.

This is a hybrid between 2 tropical butterworts, P. emarginata x P. laueana. Produces beautiful .5" shiny purple flowers with darker purple veins. The leaves turn dark green (kinda blue-green) in bright sun and have a darker upturned margin!
