Well-established blooming size (1.5-2" across) plant. This plant will be shipped bare root. Be prepared to pot this plant into a 3"+ pot. Especially good for gnats!
This is a hybrid between 2 tropical butterworts, P. emarginata x P. laueana. Produces beautiful .5" shiny purple flowers with darker purple veins. The leaves turn dark green (kinda blue-green) in bright sun and have a darker upturned margin! Flowers randomly year-round and produces lots of baby plants around the base of mature plants spring-fall.
Care: must be kept moist to wet year-round. Rainwater or filtered water is mandatory for the long-term health of the plant. Cool-hot temps and bright light-direct sun. The brighter its environment, the pinker the leaves become!

15-30 small, fragrant vibrant yellow flowers seem to erupt out of the base of the leaf! When in full flower the plant seems to be covered in little yellow pompoms!Care: Cool-warm temps, shade-indirect light and regular year-round watering and light feeding. This tiny flowered species is easy to grow with intermediate to warm temps, bright indirect light, and enough water and humidity to prevent it from drying out for long periods of time.
It's a favorite at the nursery for its forking growth pattern that creates an open yet bushy plant.

Each plant is the size of a quarter with tightly overlapping leaves that grow in a single plane to produce what looks like a tiny palm frond. The plants are connected with a 1” long rhizome to form a branching string of plants.
And it has flowers that are as large as the plant itself! Beautiful light pink, crystalline flowers with markings that differ from plant to plant. Flowers for us randomly throughout the year with long-lasting flowers. 2-4 flowers per spike.
These plants need little to no potting media. We throw them in empty baskets, string them through our “wire walls” where we hang our mounted plants, etc. Great for mounting, the parent species both grow on twigs in the wild. Usually, one plant has what looks like a precarious hold on a tiny branch and the rest of the plants are dangling in free space!
Care: These plants like bright-very bright light and intermediate to hot temps. Water often spring-fall and let them dry out between waterings in the winter.

This plant has flowers that never truly open. Instead a tiny slit forms in the side of the flower allowing the tiny gnats that pollinate it in. The flowers are dark purple on the outside and gold with purple dots on the inside. The flowers measure just under an inch long and last 6 weeks. Flowers in the late fall.
These plants grow well in cool to warm temps with medium/low light and should not be allowed to dry out completely. We grow ours in bright indirect light which makes the leaves turn purple. When these plants are grown in less light the leaves will remain green and the plant will still flower prodigously.
