Eria

  • Light: Provide medium-bright, indirect light. Shade from direct, harsh sun to prevent leaf burn.
  • Temperature: Thrives in cool-to-warm, intermediate conditions. Ideal range is (55-85°F), though they can tolerate higher summer temperatures if humidity is high.
  • Watering: Requires consistent moisture, but must not remain soggy. Water 2-3 times per week, allowing the medium to approach dryness between waterings. If mounted, they may require daily watering in warm weather.
  • Humidity: High humidity is essential, ideally between 60-85%. Use a humidifier, tray, or grow in a humid greenhouse/bathroom.
  • Potting/Mounting: Best grown mounted on cork slabs or in hanging baskets/pots. Use a well-draining, airy medium like fir bark with perlite or sphagnum moss.
  • Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength regularly throughout the year.
  • Repotting: The best time to repot or mount is at the end of winter when new growth appears.
