Description
Bulbophyllum elassoglossum - large, well-established, blooming-size plant in a 4" net pot.
The striking blooms are quite large, for the diminutive size of the plant. The sepals are a solid red and the white petals are covered in red dots. Similar to its close relative Bulbophyllum xanthoacron, the flowers open in the morning and close each afternoon.
Care: Intermediate-hot growing, prefers high humidity and indirect light/shade (similar to a Phalaenopsis), and year-round regular watering and feeding.
