Dendrochilum wenzelii 'Pololei Scarlet'. Well-established blooming size plant in a 3.25" pot.

These plants are often called Grass Orchids (because of the leaves) or Fox Tail Orchids (because of the inflorescence). This plant is easy to grow and gets large fast. Specimen size plants are a sight behold! I've seen specimen plants with upwards of 100 arching inflorescences in flower at the same time in a relatively small 6" pot! Flowers late winter to early spring.

Care: Regular year-round watering (do not let potting medium dry out completely), bright indirect light and intermediate to hot temps.

The plant shipped will be the same size or larger than the plant pictured but it will not be in flower.
