Not often seen for sale, we have a limited quantity.This is a beautiful hybrid Masdevallia! The large flowers open almost pure white with a hint of lavender around the lower edge. As the flower matures it turns increasingly lavender until it reaches almost up to the throat. The cooler the plant is kept the more intense the color saturation becomes. A very floriferous plant!Cold to intermediate. Partial shade. Never let the plant remain dry for an extended period, especially in temps over 75°F.

This is a beautiful miniature Masdevallia. Tiger like-coloration on a flower that is less than an inch across. 2-5 flowers per spike in the late summer-fall. A decent size plant is a show stopper for anyone who loves small pleurothallids.

If a flower can be both dark red and bright red at the same time this is it. The throat is an orangey-red that bleeds out into the solid red sepals. The flowers float 3-6" above the leaves on stout (for a Masdevallia), single-flowered spikes.I've been trying for many years to capture a photo of this flower that does it justice and have yet to succeed!
