    A small, epiphytic, vining (the only Anthurium that is a vine), creeper widely distributed from southern Mexico to Central and South America, where it grows in a variety of habitats, at altitudes between sea level and 2700 m. It grows a well-developed system of roots to support the fleshy stems with elliptical leaves, glossy green above and mottled brown below, an upright or sometimes pendent inflorescence followed by very attractive, lavender, pearl-shaped berries. Care: This is an easy to care for plant! Bright indirect light, temps 58°F-80°F, and regular watering and light feeding year-round. When repotting use 50/50 small orchid bark and soil, or any orchid potting medium. May also be potted in a hanging basket or mounted.

  • Lemmaphyllum microphyllum Fern - Orchids for the People

    Lemmaphyllum microphyllum Fern

    Well established in a 1" net pot.This hard-to-find fern is small growing and highly suitable for terrariums and vivariums. The round, non-fertile leaves are approx 1/2 inch in diameter and the long, skinny fertile (spore) leaves are about 1.25” long. This plant is epiphytic, so it will do very well mounted with some sphagnum moss. It creeps nicely without being invasive and because of the long rhizome is easy to prune. Care: medium to high humidity, mild temps, and moderate-low light.

    Pinguicula laueana x emarginata

    Well-established blooming size (1.5-2" across) plant. This plant will be shipped bare root. Be prepared to pot this plant into a 3"+ pot. Especially good for gnats! This is a hybrid between 2 tropical butterworts, P. emarginata x P. laueana. Produces beautiful .5" shiny purple flowers with darker purple veins. The leaves turn dark green (kinda blue-green)  in bright sun and have a darker upturned margin! Flowers randomly year-round and produces lots of baby plants around the base of mature plants spring-fall. Care: must be kept moist to wet year-round. Rainwater or filtered water is mandatory for the long-term health of the plant. Cool-hot temps and bright light-direct sun. The brighter its environment, the pinker the leaves become!
