Well-established size plant in a 3.25" pot. One of our in-house hybrids! We have been impressed with this cross's vigor and ability to flower at a very young age. Because of the plant's height, it ships at the "2 plant" rate.
These plants will stay compact and relatively small (we expect them to max out at about a foot tall). Produces 1-3 1" pink flowers at each node on leafless, mature canes. The older, leafless canes produce flowers for several years so the show just keeps getting better! This plant does well mounted, in hanging baskets or in a pot.
Care: cool-hot (doesn't mind slightly cooler temps in the winter), bright indirect light, wet spring-fall with regular feeding, and a drier winter rest period.

New canes grow upright at first but them become pendant or semi-pendant as they mature. Flowers on mature leafless canes in the spring. The fragrant, waxy flowers last longer if the plant remains relatively dry during the bloom cycle.
Care: Regular watering and light feeding spring-fall, intermediate to warm temps spring-fall and a cooler (45-55), much drier rest period in the winter. Plants must be subjected to a cool period in the winter to flower their best in the spring.

This robust and easy-to-grow Dendrobium is a beauty when in bloom! The fragrant flowers develop in clusters along the mature, leafless stems (which can reach 2-3 feet in length). The flowers have pink petals and sepals with an orange-red lip. This species flowers randomly throughout the year. Flowers last 2-5 weeks. Sweetly fragrant flowers!
Care: This orchid prefers intermediate to warm temperatures, bright indirect light, and good air circulation. Watering and light feeding year-round, but allow the pot to dry out slightly between waterings.

This is an unusual Dendrochilum. Instead of being a "clumper" like most in the genus, this plant is definitely a "runner"! Will form large tangled mats that make it great for a mount or basket.
Long chains of beautiful, medium-sized (for a dendrochilum!) bright yellow flowers with white in the throat. Dendrochilums are often called 'grass orchids' for their leaves or 'fox tail orchids' for their beautiful displays of long, many-flowered spikes. D steophyllum is a medium-small (6" tall) sized Dendrochilum with spikes that will carry 40-50 white flowers. These plants are often called Grass Orchids (because of the leaves) or Fox Tail Orchids (because of the inflorescence). I like these tiny plants for a number of reasons. They are easy to grow and get large, for a miniature, fast. A specimen-size plant fits easily in a 3.25" pot. Our specimen-size plant produces hundreds of tiny arching inflorescences in flower at the same time! That's thousands of tiny flowers open at the same time!
Care tip: These plants should never dry out completely.
This is one of the bigger-flowered Dendrochilum species. Each long, gracefully arching inflorescence produce up to 30 flowers each. This plant is quite a site when it reaches even close to specimen size when blooming! Generally blooms late winter-spring.
