We grow lots of intermediate growing orchids! It's a perfect fit for our coastal Northern California weather. Nighttime temps for these plants range from 55°F-62°F and daytime temps from 75°F-85°F.
This is Miltonia (regnelii v alba x (spectabilis v moreliana x Seminole Blood). I know it's a mouthful but we haven't registered a name for it yet! Large, well-established blooming size plant in 3.25" pot.
I love this new cross we made! Every single plant has unique flowers! All have produced 3-6 flowers on their first flower spike. Flowers have been 3"-4" across. The majority of plants have had spotted flowers. The plant flowers in the late summer/early fall. I have included several pictures of flowers that have already bloomed to show a representation of the flowers we have seen so far. Please note: I cannot pick a particular flower pattern. Later in the season I will have auctions for individual plants with select flowers on our eBay site (Orchids for the People). Select plants will be considerably more expensive!

An uncommon orchid that is also easy to grow. The only species in this genus, N. pulchella is a creeper that grows into a mat. Can be hung up in its current basket and allowed to trail where it wishes but also adapts easily to being mounted vertically or horizontally. This species doesn't need repotting very often and doesn't need a large mount, pot or basket because the majority of the plant just dangles in open space! Flowers in the Fall with bright lavendar flowers.Care: Can be grown cool-warm and prefers intermediate light. We water them a lot in the Spring/Summer and only a little in the Winter.

Closely related to Epidendrums, these plants are very easy to grow and flower. Beautiful, long-lasting bluish-purple flowers emerge from the tips of the long, branching canes late winter all the way through summer. One of the longest flowering periods of any plant in our greenhouses. Rooted branches can easily be divided, like a reed stem Epidendrum.
Oerstedella schweinfurthiana (syn Epidendendrum schweinfurthianum). Deflasked October 2021 and well-rooted in 3.25" pots.
These easy-to-grow Epidendrum relatives have amazing 1" flowers with sepals and petals that are bluish-purple on the back and orange-red to bronze and a bluish-purple lip. Flowers develop in bunches of 4-10 flowers in the fall-winter. Mature plants produce wispy, flexible stems that can EASILY REACH 10 FEET LONG.
Care: cool-warm temps, indirect-bright indirect light, regular watering and fertilizer spring-fall, and let dry between light waterings in the winter.
Panarica brassavolae x Anacheillium radiatum. Well-established Blooming Size divisions (two back bulbs plus one new growth) in 3.25" pots.An unusual hybrid! It looks like a big, weird radiatum with a lot more flowers per spike. A very vigorous and floriferous plant. Sweetly fragrant.Care: Cool-warm conditions with bright indirect light. Flowers late summer to late fall.

This is a hybrid between 2 tropical butterworts, P. emarginata x P. laueana. Produces beautiful .5" shiny purple flowers with darker purple veins. The leaves turn dark green (kinda blue-green) in bright sun and have a darker upturned margin! Flowers randomly year-round and produces lots of baby plants around the base of mature plants spring-fall.
Care: must be kept moist to wet year-round. Rainwater or filtered water is mandatory for the long-term health of the plant. Cool-hot temps and bright light-direct sun. The brighter its environment, the pinker the leaves become!

Beautiful heart-shaped leaves that are on the large size for a Pleurothallis. The large flowers, for a Pleurothallis, sit on top of the leaf. Quite a conversation piece! Flowers multiple times a year.

This plant produces chains of 10-30 very small, bright orange flowers that sit atop the beautiful, shiny, lance-shaped leaves. The overall effect is quite striking! Flowers multiple times a year.

Well-established blooming size seedlings in 3.25" pots. This is a newly documented natural hybrid (P. cochleata x radiata) first discovered in Guatemala. The plants tend to be more compact (more like radiata) with flowers that are similar to P. cochleata but are smaller with flatter, wider sepals. It really does look like a miniature version of P. cochleata!

Scaphosepalums are cool! The flowers are weird, they bloom a lot, and the spikes last over a year. And it flowers year round! What more could you want? S. beluosum flowers are about the size of a dime but are worth bending over and getting close to view. Hairy and fanged, the flowers have a gold background with brown markings and a red/purple column. The spikes bloom successively in flushes so it appears the side of the pot or basket is covered in tiny alien insects! Each spike may produce over 30 flowers over its lifespan.When given the proper amount of light, new leaves have a purple blush which fades to green as they mature,
