We love this plant! It mats into a specimen in a short time. Flowers several times a year and we call it the "baboon butt" flower for obvious (to me :) reasons. This is a great orchid for vivariums and small growing spaces!
Care: Easy to grow in moderately bright to partial shade conditions. Like to be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Moderate water all year.

This is Miltonia (regnelii v alba x (spectabilis v moreliana x Seminole Blood). I know it's a mouthful but we haven't registered a name for it yet! Large, well-established blooming size plant in 3.25" pot.
I love this new cross we made! Every single plant has unique flowers! All have produced 3-6 flowers on their first flower spike. Flowers have been 3"-4" across. The majority of plants have had spotted flowers. The plant flowers in the late summer/early fall. I have included several pictures of flowers that have already bloomed to show a representation of the flowers we have seen so far. Please note: I cannot pick a particular flower pattern. Later in the season I will have auctions for individual plants with select flowers on our eBay site (Orchids for the People). Select plants will be considerably more expensive!

Known as the Beautiful Coelogyne, this species blooms sequentially with 1 to 3 flowers per spike. The musky scented flowers arise out of the center of a new pseudobulb growth and can bloom at any time of the year but most often in spring and summer. The flowers are about 6 cm in diameter. The lip is white with orange-brown or dark brown spots. The large side lobes of the lip are brown or red and curve up to form a tube that almost completely covers the spine.
Care: Cool to hot temps, indirect-bright indirect light, regular year-round watering and light feeding. The warmer the growing conditions, the more often it should be watered.

Flower spikes develop in the fall-winter and carry 1-3 silver quarter-sized creamy yellow flowers. The lip is very dark brick-red and is hairy.

Well-established blooming size plant in a 2.25" pot. This is a unique and interesting Dracula. The first thing that stands out is the fact that it sends flower spikes up, not straight down, which is rare for this genus. The second thing you notice is the flower itself. The flower hangs down from the spike and the sepals are fused into a lantern-like shape. This, along with the bright orange color, draws a person in for a closer look. Then you notice the inside of the flower is completely covered in fuzzy hair! All in all, a neat addition to any cool to intermediate collection.Dracula sodiroi is also easier to grow than most Draculas because, since the flower spike grow upwards, you can grow it in a pot rather than a basket. This makes it easier to keep moist which, along with high humidity and good air movement, is essential for keeping this entire genus happy and healthy.

Flowers close for the night only to reopen the next morning! Stays very small and forms dense mats.Care: Moderate light, regular watering all year, and intermediate to warm temps.

This is an unusual Dendrochilum. Instead of being a "clumper" like most in the genus, this plant is definitely a "runner"! Will form large tangled mats that make it great for a mount or basket.
Long chains of beautiful, medium-sized (for a dendrochilum!) bright yellow flowers with white in the throat. Flowers smells like orange creamsicles!Care: Easy to grow plants that like cool-warm temps, indirect light-shade, regular year round watering and light feeding. This species thrives on neglect in a greenhouse.

This species produces small (about the size of a nickel) flowers that truly have a monkey face! Flowers in the summer for us. The short flower spikes emerge around the margin of the plant. The flowers tend to open all at the same time so it looks like a whole pack of monkeys (albeit tiny monkeys!) staring at you! Not only that, each flower spike will produce 2-5 flowers in succession over a period of a couple of months. Best if hung up in a basket but this is one of the few Dracula species that can be grown in a pot on a table.

Care: Minimum low temp of 46° F and a high of around 85°F. Anything over 80°, keep the plant really wet. We like to water them morning and evening at least a couple of times a week in the summer. Folks with greenhouses that have swamp coolers grow them directly in front of the cooler. We give our plants lots of light in the winter and lots of shade in the summer.

It's a favorite at the nursery for its forking growth pattern that creates an open yet bushy plant.
