Large, well-established in a 1" or 3" net pot. The 3" pot plants have grown into balls the size of a cantaloupe! Most places on the internet sell it by the single strand.
This hard-to-find fern is small-growing and highly suitable for terrariums, vivariums and as houseplants. The round, non-fertile leaves are approx 1/2 inch in diameter and the long, skinny fertile (spore) leaves are about 1.25” long. This plant is epiphytic, so it will do very well mounted with some sphagnum moss. It creeps nicely without being invasive and because of the long rhizome is easy to prune.
Care: medium to high humidity, mild temps, and moderate-low light.

These plants are often called Grass Orchids (because of the leaves) or Fox Tail Orchids (because of the inflorescence). I like these tiny plants for a number of reasons. They are easy to grow and get large, for a miniature, fast. A specimen-size plant fits easily in a 4" pot. Our specimen-size plant produces hundreds of tiny arching inflorescences in flower at the same time! That's thousands of tiny flowers open at the same time!

Commonly called the millipede orchid because of its growth habit. This species hugs its growing surface looking for any crack or crevice to follow. The flowers are nearly identical to S fragrans (but without fragrance) but the sturdy, succulent leaves are about 1/2 the size (1/4" long, 1/8" wide)! The plant tends to branch randomly (these plants are already branching).
