Platystele misera is highly prized by micro-orchid enthusiasts for its continuous blooming habits and delicate, translucent flowers. It is an "ever-blooming" species. Mature plants produce new flower spikes before the previous ones finish, keeping the orchid almost constantly in bud or bloom.
