Flower spikes develop in the fall-winter and carry 1-3 silver quarter-sized creamy yellow flowers. The lip is very dark brick-red and is hairy.

Known as the Beautiful Coelogyne, this species blooms sequentially with 1 to 3 flowers per spike. The musky scented flowers arise out of the center of a new pseudobulb growth and can bloom at any time of the year but most often in spring and summer. The flowers are about 6 cm in diameter. The lip is white with orange-brown or dark brown spots. The large side lobes of the lip are brown or red and curve up to form a tube that almost completely covers the spine.
Care: Cool to hot temps, indirect-bright indirect light, regular year-round watering and light feeding. The warmer the growing conditions, the more often it should be watered.

Well-established, near-blooming size plants recently repotted into 3.25” pots. Dendrobium anceps is an interesting epiphytic species native to Southeast Asia, including regions like Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.The leaves are generally lance-shaped to narrowly elliptic and are somewhat fleshy. They typically have a smooth, shiny surface and a dark green color. The leaves are arranged alternately along the stem. Overall, the leaves contribute to the plant's interesting appearance even when it isn’t in bloom. 3/4` to 1` flowers are pale greenish yellow with a red spotted lip; blooms successively winter-spring.
Care: Bright indirect light, regular watering and light feeding spring-fall and benefits from a period of cooler temperatures and reduced watering in the winter months to mimic its natural seasonal variations.

This is a great little plant, suitable for a beginner but cute enough that it’s a great plant for any collector! It has a rambling habit that makes it well suited for a hanging basket or pot. It makes for a superb specimen plant due to its small stature and its tendency to produce large flushes of beautiful, large (for the size of the plant), fragrant flowers all at once. The flowers have bubble gum pink sepals and petals and a fimbriated white lip with a large central orange disc. Flowers late winter-spring.
Care: Bright indirect light. Prefers warmer, wet summers and cooler, drier winters. Fertilize regularly when actively growing.

This robust and easy-to-grow Dendrobium is a beauty when in bloom! The fragrant flowers develop in clusters along the mature, leafless stems (which can reach 2-3 feet in length). The flowers have pink petals and sepals with an orange-red lip. This species flowers randomly throughout the year. Flowers last 2-5 weeks.

Well-established blooming size plant in a 3.25" pot. Dendrochilum glumaceum produces foot-long flower spikes with 50-100 flowers per spike. To me, the flowers smell like a combination of old-fashioned clove gum with a dash of Aqua Net hairspray. It's interestingly pleasant! Flowers randomly on new growths throughout the year.These plants are often called Grass Orchids (because of the leaves) or Fox Tail Orchids (because of the inflorescence). This plant is easy to grow and gets large fast. Specimen-size plants are a sight to behold! I've seen specimen plants with upwards of 100 arching inflorescences in flower at the same time in a relatively small 6" pot! This is an unusual Dendrochilum. Instead of being a "clumper" like most in the genus, this plant is definitely a "runner"! Will form large tangled mats that make it great for a mount or basket.

This is one of the bigger-flowered Dendrochilum species. Each long, gracefully arching inflorescence produce up to 30 flowers each. This plant is quite a site when it reaches even close to specimen size when blooming! Generally blooms late winter-spring.

The plant looks like a reed stem epidendrum but with very fleshy, almost succulent leaves. We love this plant! It mats into a specimen in a short time. Flowers several times a year and we call it the "baboon butt" flower for obvious (to me :) reasons. This is a great orchid for vivariums and small growing spaces!
